Why did the #49ers go with a surprise pick in De'Zhuan Stribling? He checks a lot of Shanahan WR boxes

@adeebhafeez16 @LisaForCongress You saw what Texas did right? Was that considered Gerrymandering?
English

@SportsRadioWIP Everyone thinks he's gone. If the price isn't right, he will remain an Eagle until the price is right. They can hold him out of practice until August when injuries on other teams start occuring. Eagles can get a call from the Chargers, Steelers, Texans, Cardinals. 1st and 3rd

My turn to share my unsolicited (but correct) opinion on this picture.
Yes, it borrows from classical religious-style art— light, clouds, a central figure in white— but those elements aren’t exclusive to Jesus Christ. They’ve been used for centuries to signal authority, sacrifice, or restoration.
If you actually look at what dominates the image, it’s not Christian symbolism— it’s American symbolism. The flag, soldiers, fighter jets, fireworks, and the Statue of Liberty place the scene firmly in a national, not biblical, context.
And if this were meant to portray Jesus Christ, you’d expect the defining markers— crown of thorns, crucifixion imagery, stigmata. None of that is here.
Even the act of healing isn’t uniquely Christ-like in art— it’s a broader symbol of leadership, intervention, or restoration in times of crisis. Political figures have long been depicted in elevated, almost mythic ways using this same visual language.
At the end of the day, this is just political imagery using a familiar, almost sacred visual style to frame a leader as a symbol of strength and restoration. You can like it or not— but calling it a literal depiction of Jesus Christ is a stretch.

@mitchellvii That's Epstein he's trying to heal as Dr. Jesus.

@Gabe08T @WHLeavitt He is not protected by God. He is protected by Republican law makers.
English

@jmorca443 @WHLeavitt Yes sir, that is the law of humanity. But why not try to change what you can while you are still alive.
English

@WHLeavitt Yes, because righteous deeds have no punishment, and God always protect the righteous. Especially when done in the name of Jesus Christ. May God protect you President Donald J Trump through this battle of weakness.

I am a practicing Catholic. Have been all my life, waaaayyyy over half a century. But I’ve had it with these damn popes getting political!! I couldn’t stand Pope Francis. 😤 We catholics are taught to believe that the pope is divinely chosen. That he is infallible. But I’m sorry, this one and the last one are hardly infallible. 😒 I had hopes for Leo but I had also heard that he was a liberal early on. Already, I can see he’s no better than Francis. Please, stop making Catholics feel like we have to choose.
Because I’ll choose Jesus always, but you are NOT Jesus!! I will NOT change my stance on my president! I will support him, however, the one thing I CAN control? How much money I put in the kitty every week. 💰 And right now, I’m not putting ANY money in that’s intended for Rome. Until the holy father stays out of our politics, he gets not one. red. cent. from me! His job is to lead people to Christ like a shepherd, not to “pontificate” on @POTUS @DonaldTrump! @Pontifex
