Plenty of other ways to get to wherever you need to go if you aren't obsessed with needing to save 30 seconds off your trip (which with the traffic probably doesn't actually materialize anyway).

A problem that they created completely by themselves, and a deadline they set by themselves, with not a single Republican vote involved.

Instead, Democrats just held the entire country hostage, while gaslighting republicans (again) trying to get enough leverage to attempt to fix their Obummercare problem that they have backed themselves into a corner with.

Of note, this is essentially what Republicans had offered weeks ago.

There will then be two more votes before the package goes back to the House. If they pass it, it will head to President Trump's desk. So don't get too excited. There's still plenty of political theatre drama to come.
