@Woolius_Caesar Thanks! It’s pretty much all shadow layers on multiply on top of each other, airbrushed with grain to create the subtle gradients. The only light that is washing out the lines is the main one coming from outside the car. I think that one is at like 25% opacity.

@jnkboy Is it that you put the reflected light and the occlusion within the gradient? I need to try this as well. It’s gorgeous. So atmospheric.

@davidashton101 Thanks! All drawing done in Photoshop. I'll typically do grey boxing in Blender first to work out major shapes, perspective, etc. Not doing much analogue drawing right now (other than sketching), that might change though.

@jnkboy This has just blown me away and I’ve had to rabbit hole down the rest of your work. Stunning mate. Can I ask how you achieve this? Do you sketch traditionally and colour digitally? And if so what software do you use? CSP? Many thanks in advance.

@_SamGC Yeah I've been working with a very limited palette for these pieces. Bit of an ascetic exercise really, so it's tempting to push it further at this point!

@jnkboy What about adding a different tone to the city outside? Maybe that way you can focus the attention on the character? Just a suggestion/raw proof of concept.
