Synthesia just raised $90 million in Series C funding led by @Accel and with that… officially joined the unicorn club 🦄 🦄 🦄 Back in 2017, no one really understood our vision.. I love a DAG. Here's a snapshot from the early days of node-based compositing in film VFX. Hugely complex effects are now built using Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs) in VFX tools like Nuke / Maya / Houdini / Katana.
