@CCampbell162 @IrishRail This just appeared on my timeline. I dont know you. I'm so sorry this happened to you, absolutely unacceptable in this day and age.

Arrived at Grand Central to seek a refund & make a complaint, only to be dismissed and told to contact @IrishRail because they issued my ticket. As a patient advocate, this "not our problem" approach is a failure in service. #CustomerService #PatientAdvocacy #PublicTransport🚂

@Translink_NI While I understand the operational need for a train change, leaving a passenger with a disability without a seat is unacceptable. This failure highlights a critical gap in your current disability policy. #consumerrights # accessibility 😪

@Independent_ie Please God no, here is another idea - build into the training courses that they must serve a period of time in the HSE before being officially furnished with their complete qualifications.

@VeteranIrish I’m going to have to confess that as a Scot , I have never heard of this tea ! 🙈Have I been missing out ? I could get a box on Amazon - it’s pricey . Is it better than Yorkshire tea ? Worth a try ? Seems to be getting good reviews on here

Does anyone else drink Barry’s Tea? In all the years I have been drinking tea, this is by far the best! I have only been drinking it for 3 weeks and I can’t stop… 😂😂😂 ☕️

@Debss2500 No, I don't think we should keep a log of helping out friends or neighbours. Personally, I'd probably have dropped you in a little gift but it's not something I'd expect. It's a privilege to spend time with her pets.

Ok, is it me...if someone asks you to go to their house on Sat and Sun to feed their pets, would you expect them to at least take you for a coffee to say thanks?

@rtenews The proposed new building is an awful looking monstrosity! Also how will all the new office workers commute into the city centre to work there?

@Paddystinian Then the kids asking what that is, the parents saying I dunno and they end up googling it. At Patrick's day is for the kids. This is atrocious considering kids were raped and murdered.

@sophiegrenham I'm sorry that happened, it shouldn't have. She should have been assessed beforehand and you should have been prepared before in case you'd need to. They'd probably have admitted her overnight if you weren't around, one would hope.

@joannjuly It's okay. I had to stay the night with her at home, which should be okay, but it was sprung on me on a Sunday night. I should also state that Mum was checked into a day ward as an outpatient.

What do hospitals do when they can't rely on the availability of grownup children (usually tired, time-poor women, I'm sorry) to manage a parent's aftercare following a procedure? I put this question to the nurse looking after my mother today, making it clear that I wasn't being smart, and she said usually there is someone to help, whether it's a family member or a friend. What if you have no one at all? What if you have no family and your friends are busy or you alienated them all years ago - what then?

@Susan60406426 @sophiegrenham The problem can be overnight. You have to pay for thst and its very expensive. Most people couldn't afford it.
