@katieachille This data gives a much greater perspective into the "Great Resignation" than the idea that people are simply quitting their job. Thank you for sharing!

@sharlyn_lauby I agree, Shelby. A smooth employee onboarding experience also plays a large part in employee retention and this can be accomplished by automating tedious parts like form collection so that HR professionals can focus on the person filling out those forms.

@mitchzenger I would be very interested to see how applicant screening software could be adapted to seek out these kinds of soft skills.

Background checks can be fraught with legal hurdles to jump through. In addition to the #FCRA, there are other federal, state, and local laws that impact an employer's use of background checks. Here is a comprehensive guide. #HR twitter.com/DirectEmployer…

If you are conducting #BackgroundChecks, you know you have to comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), but what other federal, state, and local laws are out there? bit.ly/3OBrmKl #HR #business #work

@MeghanMBiro There are some compliance issues wrapped up in this as well. Employers have to carefully balance giving employees sufficient access to digital services with protecting their privacy rights.

@mitchzenger Thank you for sharing, Mitch. Cafeteria plans put more agency into the employee to decide what shape their benefits should take, as well as help to lower compliance risk by providing options for employees so that they can receive the best fit possible.

@ToddMitchem I agree, Todd. Setting clear guidelines, whether in the form of workplace policies or handbooks, improves communication between employers and employees while putting more power into the employee's hands to meet expectations accordingly.

@TrishMcFarlane I agree with another commenter, transformations are never truly over. Organizations should be looking to constantly improve workplace conditions for employees, including the tools at their disposable to get work done to the best of their potential.

There is so much talk about #transformation journeys in organizations & in #work . How do you know when the transformation is complete? What are the indicators? #hrcommunity

Employers can reduce litigation risk by identifying warning signs in employees. If employees feel unheard by their boss or are unaware of their performance metrics, these miscommunications can lead to lawsuits where the employee feels targeted. @SHRM shrm.org/resourcesandto…
