@joe10e

I love Reformed Theology I hate Reformed Culture in uno Jesu omnia It's ok if you disagree with my politics. Church is important.

There is nothing hidden, sneaky or sinister about Jesus. There is no shadow of hidden agenda in His soul. He is kind; rest in Him.

@joe10e @visionnehemiah I would’ve slightly been okay with the definition and everything had he not used it to describe parents. That criminalizes a group of people and it stinks. P. S. I’m all for fairness. I know clarity doesn’t equal endorsement for him 💛

“Coyotes.” How we describe people, is a core indication of what is in our hearts. Whole parents being called animals they were not made in the image of. My God! #PresidentialDebate2020

@visionnehemiah @AyannaZariya According to a young woman in my church who came over the border illegally, the informal name for those who get people over the border is coyote. It's a profession. And I'm no fan of Trump, lol.

@AyannaZariya I didn't catch that he was referring parents to coyotes. I thought he was making the claim that it wasn't their parents who brought them. But I could be totally wrong on that. Either way, I am not standing by Trump lol. I never heard that term coyote until recently.

Is it just my Millenial Cynicism or is it super cheesy and cringy whenever Biden talks about not seeing red and blue states.

Revolutionaries, in my experience, are among the most miserable people I've ever met.

This tweet came mid way through a thread that is important in its own right. But it got me thinking about my own story. I did speak, eventually, and tell the truth. I wasn't the victim. But my dad was the molester.
Rachael Denhollander@R_Denhollander

Show up. Be willing to speak. Stop clinging to frameworks you esteem as more important than the truth. It's life and death. This isn't a game. Be proactive in telling the truth. Ask what you can do. Come back and ask again. Bring the darkness into the light.

I wouldn't take anything back. I wouldn't trade my experiences. I'm glad for the grace to survive. I'm glad I don't have regrets.

So to go back to @R_Denhollander and her thoughts: No, it's no game. To do right often has a high cost. The cost of pain, even to despair of life in the midst of it, is worth the benefit of justice. There is justice in speaking the truth.
