Listened to two Knicks podcasts previewing the series. @LockedOnKnicks was very fair and balanced and a very good listen. @KnickFilmSkool was hot garbage, the cockiest shit I’ve ever heard, basically saying the Cavs can’t beat the Knicks and everything is in the Knicks favor 😂😂

I’m gonna say it… The Knicks are a great matchup for Cleveland. Brunson is going to be brought into every action and have to defend Harden/Mitchell They don’t have an Ausar/Scottie Barnes level defender for Mitchell if they want to keep OG on Mobley Dean Wade has given Brunson hell defensively Having Mobley roaming when KAT brings the center out and tries to facilitate will limit those sets. Knicks only chance is magnet ball.

Shame on me for doubting the KAT trade even once. That deal was always made with a higher ceiling in mind, and we’re seeing it now. Julius is an all time great Knick, but to flip him & Donte into Towns was a worthwhile gamble, to the extent it was a gamble at all.

I’m even higher on Cade Cunningham now than I was entering the playoffs. Pistons easily have the worst supporting cast of any of the remaining teams. No matter how this postseason results for Detroit the front office has a lot of work to do this summer. Cade is playing at a level more than deserving of the investment.
