The lower-ranked clubs in the KBL are deliberately losing the game in anticipation of Yeo Junseok entering the rookie draft. Unfortunately, Yeo Junseok doesn't seem to have any intention of playing in the KBL right away. ⚠️Note: This is just my idea. #YeoJunseok

@baekpd1983 @Jcoleville10 @PBAinsider i can only add, that its a proven fact that some african athletes (including basketball players) use wrong birth dates in their documents to make their official age less, than it is in reality. For a young athlete it gives many advantages.

@NBLPleb one more HUGE factor, that speaks of the quality of B3 league ... look at the number of teams in B1 and B2 ... B3 very very rarely attracts comparable local talent to B2 (B1 is out of the question frankly). You can do the math ...

@NBLPleb and its a very low level league. Apart from the imports (2 per team on the field, +naturalized/asian) the level of the other (local) players is very very low

@baekpd1983 and of course Kings have a very big advantage as 2 american born players (Jeremy Lin + his brother) are considered locals in EASL and local league (they are foreigners in FIBA competition) Even Hong Kong team has a very very "vague" rule applied to them ...

@baekpd1983 also Taiwan clubs, have similar advantage - they have 3+ imports on their squad all the time, they can use foreign asian players (Kings used american/palestinian Sakakini, he is almost as good as american imports in taiwanese league), can also use naturalized foreign students

SK Knights and LG Sakers are unlikely to advance to the main draw in the EASL tournament next season. The Japanese and Taiwanese leagues have three to four imported players, so KBL clubs cannot beat them. P.S In fact, KBL clubs need prize money because of the huge deficit.

You dont win games playing like this outside of your "ecosystem". The players involved in this kind of basketball are NOT growing, IMHO. There was 0 structure to the game.
