@tech_twi Masa masa sup? You know more than the engineers at Akosombo? How do you re-wire a whole burnt control room within a day? Na house wiring koraa how long does it take to do that? Some of you chale.....hmm

In 2026, they are saying Ghana has lost 1000 MW, causing nationwide dumsor for months. In 2022, during a Puerto Rico island wide blackout, they lost over 3000 MW, yet they restored 1000+ MW within one day, and most of the power was restored within 2 to 3 days. Most African leaders are just incompetent because they know many of you will believe anything. They use big grammar to confuse you, and their followers help spread and defend it.

Ghana has installed capacity of more than 5,000MW. Our peak demand is less than 3000MW. Even if 1,000 MW is knocked off by fire outbreak in Akosombo, there should still not be light offs. We must be told the truth.
KOJO DYNAMIC 𓃵@AnnanPerry

The Dumsor no dier, we all no dey like but we all dey inside. Wey e no be say the usual chorus be the issue this time. The usual chorus be fixed just say replacement then upgrade works start wey fire catch Akosombo substation wey the dam no dey produce so we lose 1000W. Hmm

This guy has no sense. He doesn’t even know that 1000W is just a single electric kettle, and even most laptops use a 330W charger. So he’s saying a loss of 1000W caused a nationwide power outage, and his followers believe it and like it. 😂😂😂
KOJO DYNAMIC 𓃵@AnnanPerry

We are not saying there is no Dumsor but we are telling you the cause because it is not deliberate or the usual reasons for Dumsor. This is due to the loss of 1000W following the fire outbreak which led to the collapse of the Akosombo Dam.

@iLatif_ 6am is quite normal. The electrical engineers could be contacted anytime even on Sundays while having a church service to attend to emergencies. Seeing how Ghanaians are complaining of dumsor and the power crisis at Akosombo, i wouldn't be surprised. 6am kraa is too late😂

@evithence You mean an electrical engineer would intentionally put a light out or cause a fault to happen because he/she belongs to the opposition party?

You’re keeping opposition members in key sectors as ECG and you expect them to do your government good? NDC lol keep it up. Dumsor perception has started building up gradually. I wish you well in 2028, they will learn it the hard way.

As an electrical engineering student interested in pure mathematics, I’ve given an elementary real-analytic proof of the Gaussian integral relying only on algebraic inequalities, trigonometric substitution, and the Squeeze Theorem, no complex analysis or multivariable methods.

@ghonetv It's surprising how no one is interested in the reason for the increase but interested in NDC and NPP agenda. It could even be some whack reason that our voices could make them revert this decision but hey, as someone would say, 'whom am I'?

The dumbest take I have seen today is people saying a player should not win the PREMIER LEAGUE Player of the season because he only played Premier league games. There’s stupidity then there is this 😭

Well, I'm a religious man of science so I'll break this down how everyone will understand. Let's say Adam and Eve were both AA, but along the line, humans got the AS genotype. The first thing we should ask is who has the AS genotype and why? Firstly, the AS genotype is usually limited to the black African race and a few other tropical people. One of the most prominent species in Africa and the tropics are the malaria causing Anopheles mosquitoes. The malaria parasite, plasmodium is shown to attack and destroy red blood cells and the liver which causes some vital functions to fail leading to malaise, fever, jaundice, liver failure and eventually death if untreated. Malaria dealt with the ancestors of modern day Africans and one thing about nature is that it must evolve to survive. Because of how deadly the malaria parasite is, the body of our ancestors had to evolve in a way to help defend against Malaria (plasmodium to be precise). How did it do this? By producing red blood cells with a different shape. This shape is the shape of a hook or sickle. This came with the downside of sickle cell anaemia which is a big medical problem in Africa and the black populations around the world today. Evolution (or God's programming language as I call it) wrote it in the DNA of our ancestors that were in malaria heavy habitations that the RBCs needed to be sickle shaped to prevent malaria from killing whole swathes of populations off. When the SS which was the genotype for this sickle cell sufferers began to migrate and mix with other of our ancestors with AA genotype who's body made sure to produce full and round red blood cells, the AA genotype had stronger expression and became the dominant gene and that was how AS genotype was born. Yes, malaria is why the AS genotype evolved. Put some respect on malaria 😌. N.B: - AA have no tendency for sickle cell anaemia but are highly susceptible to malaria. - AS have the sickle cell gene but it's recessive. It doesn't express itself as sickle cell anaemia. They are usually less susceptible to malaria than AA and are really the middle ground. They are carriers. - SS are the sickle cell anaemia patients that express the symptoms actively namely, shortness of breath, paleness, pain, crisis, etc. They aren't however susceptible to malaria because the plasmodium cannot attach itself or insert itself in their sickle shaped red blood cells. Thanks to advancements in medical sciences, SS patients can now live full normal lives with medications and regular checkups. Follow for more everyday medical knowledge like this.
