“Truly I tell you,” Jesus said to them, “no one who has left home or wife or brothers or sisters or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God will fail to receive many times as much in this age, and in the age to come eternal life” (Luke 18:29–30). Wonderful promise!

Jesus:"If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them” (Lk 17:3–4). God, help us to forgive. Trust takes longer.

Jesus said, For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted” (Lk 14:11). We don't have to "toot our own horn." We should not boast or even highlight all we have done for God or others. Jesus will lift us up in his time. He sees.

Lk 15:20, "So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him." Our heavenly Father loves us, even when we stray. He welcomes us back.

Lk 10:1-2, "After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town. He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." Prayer is key..

Psalm 95:1-3: "Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the LORD is the great God, the great King above all gods." Let's glorify God today. He's worthy.

Psalm 81:10–11: "I am the LORD your God, who brought you up out of Egypt. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it. “But my people would not listen to me." God desires to fill our lives with joy and peace. Sadly, many choose the world's pleasures that can never truly satisfy.

Jesus is alive! Let's worship him today. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8)

Psalm 73:23-25: "Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you." We are significant and secure in Jesus (nothing else).

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging" (Psalm 46:1-3). We can rest in Him.

"For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it. . . Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.(Lk 9:24–26).

Lk 4:3-4, "The devil said to him, 'If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone.’” May God's Word fill our hearts and minds, so that we might rebuke the devil with Scripture. God's Word is a sword.

Deut, 17:18–20, "When he [the king] takes the throne of his kingdom, he is to write for himself on a scroll a copy of this law, . .and he is to read it all the days of his life so that he may learn to revere the LORD and. .not consider himself better than his fellow Israelites."

Deut 7:7-8, "The LORD did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. But it was because the LORD loved you. . . " God loves us because of who he is, and because we trust in His Son, Jesus.

Deut 5:28-29, "The LORD said to me, “Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever!" God has our best interests in mind. He grieves with those who choose to "do their own thing."

Phil 3:20-21, "But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body." Heavenly call.
