Update on yesterday's video regarding matchmaking in Black Ops 7. I've been in contact with Treyarch and they've been looking into the matches I was testing on my accounts. They've reiterated to me that nothing has changed with the matchmaking at all compared to the open matchmaking in the beta, however, they stated the player demographics and playlist selections are very different in the full build vs the Beta. So the discrepancy that many of us have had with our experience in the Beta vs at Launch is most likely due to these factors. This is something I noted in the video as a potential reason for this and I believe that it's the case after discussing things with them. I'm hoping to see something official come out after the Thanksgiving break so you don't just have to take my word for it but time will tell.

I'm exploring a potential video idea & looking for some additional perspectives. For those that dislike BO7's multiplayer, can you share some specific reasons for this? Not just "game bad" or "AI slop" but actual specific reasons for not enjoying the gameplay experience.

@tdawgsmitty Allot of that makes perfect sense, I agree. But I don’t agree with old school boots on the ground. Where one guy can hold a crazy head glitch and be unstoppable. You need a way to counter just standing in one spot. That shit is so boring

ok call of duty is getting outsold by battlefield so let me give you my real opinion on what cod should do next let the Black ops and modern warfare series rest. forever. go back to classic boots on the ground cod. no omni movement, no sliding like apex, back to where positioning means something. make a GREAT campaign that then influences the rest of the game. characters, story, zombies, mp. remember airfield from waw?? nostalgia need a break. stop using old maps, guns and stories to sell your next game. stop copying other games. be call of duty. we dont need you to mimic overwatch, fortnite or arc raiders thank you for listening

Pretty sure Bo7 is bugged on Xbox. First day was fine, released a couple of patches and now I’m constantly lagging and dropping frames any insight @MaTtKs ?

@TheXclusiveAce Honestly this open moshpit is the best thing ever, it feels like old cod again. You get some games that are sweats but it’s more like damn he’s good. Not oh I’m just playing against gods then you get games you can dominate it’s such a fun mix

@Just_Caffrey This goes for multiple games right now, as soon as they started making games “Realistic” it ruined them. COD shouldn’t be a mil sim. It’s an arcade shooter I could care less about realism make it fun again

How did we fall so far from perfection? - fast fluid movement - minimal penalties for sliding and jumping - fast mantle speeds - snappy aim down sight and weapon swaps - minimal visual effects and recoil - wingsuit > parachute - amazing graphics and lighting (PC) - actual color in the map What else did I miss?

@JonathanYarwood I think that ball is in the middle of his stance. I believe the camera is just behind him to make it look like it’s up. Of course you want to move forward when you’re hitting the ball, but to far up and most ams will have a hard time getting to the ball. Causing poor contact

Many poor ball strikers move the ball back to try and meet the low point. This perpetuates no dynamic shift and makes the low point stay behind the ball. Good players have the ball forward like Hovvland with a 9 iron here. This creates a “dynamic ball position“ which encourages mass movement and moves the low point ahead.
