@EconAdept @Phantom_TheGame I don't think so, space remains symmetric from the reference frame of the object (ignoring gravity) but from the reference frame of the outside observer watching the stationary object, that symmetry is broken

@joepearse @Phantom_TheGame Which is why it would stay constant to the reference frame of the local space time, and NOT the inertial frame of the moving portal.

@EconAdept @Phantom_TheGame Momentum is only conserved in continuously symmetric space (this is part of Noether's theorem), since portals break this symmetry, momentum doesn't have to be conserved
