Happy Sunday everyone!
I’m still holding my short position on $BTC futures on $Binance. This is my first time trading futures.
Since I’m a very conservative trader, I’m trading without leverage.
It’s a swing position and I’m actively monitoring it.
So far, everything is going well and the trade is now at break-even.

The first time I read this phrase by Mark Douglas, I didn’t realize how important it truly was, not only for trading, but for every aspect of life.
“The consistency you seek is in your mind, not in the markets.”
After 5 years, it finally clicked.
It took time to internalize it, but it’s one of the truest statements I know.
When we feel complete inside, when we have clarity about who we are and what we want, and, most importantly, confidence in ourselves, things start to unfold more naturally in our favor.
In trading, this is very clear:
When we understand our style, know what we want to trade (and what we don’t), and have a clear plan, everything improves.
Confidence, self-respect, and inner peace come first. Only when there is peace within, the outside world reflects it.✨

Reflection as a stock trader in this market environment
I closed my long position on $BILI on January 20 out of fear. The VIX opened with a gap above 20, and I panicked. I closed the trade with a 16% gain, which is objectively very good, but the truth is I didn’t respect my selling rules.
With all the fundamentals unfolding, the price kept moving higher.
This is an important reminder for me: I need clearer rules, and more importantly, I need to respect them.
The trading journey is long, and there’s always something new to learn.
Today was a wake-up call to take this more seriously and treat trading as a profession and a lifelong business.
Happy Thursday😊

The end of the year has arrived, and many of us take time to reflect on what we achieved, what we missed, and where we need to improve.
Wanting to become your best version is something beautiful.
But sometimes the world, and especially social media, asks too much of us. We compare ourselves, see other people’s achievements, and forget something simple: a peaceful life is also a form of success. Enjoying the process is part of the journey.
