Day 4 of Building in Public: Back to the 9-to-5 with Monday blues and a slow start.. Have not been as active with replies, and only got 10 more followers since yesterday's post, from 57 to 67 ~ the grind is real 😆 Just updated my name and username on X so my blue tick is under review, and hoping that everything will go through smoothly. Saw lots of positive reviews on @superx_so so will be trying it out to see if it can level up my game on X ~ thanks @adriamatz for sharing your experience with it! On my first product idea side, am thinking of a daily email companion for motivation with a webapp journal ~ partly inspired by The Daily Stoic by @RyanHoliday, partly to scratch my own itch of having a positive touchpoint to keep myself grounded, and partly to reuse some code I have from 1.5 years back so it doesn't go to waste 😂 I plan to set aside time and space this week to complete a basic MVP by Sunday, so we'll see how it goes! Was also browsing the Trust MRR marketplace for apps/products by @marclou too, and found some that were really attractive given their stage of development, existing MRR, and asking offer price ~ though I'm not sure how the acquisition process works and if there's any escrow or buyer/seller protection. Might give some thought to acquiring some of these products <$15k if they're feasible enough to jumpstart my MRR journey (will this be considered cheating? 😂) Though on the other hand, I wonder if this is just me being distracted by shiny-object-syndrome too and I should just focus on one thing at a time 😂 Let me know your thoughts! --- Thanks for following my #BuildInPublic journey!
