The antidote to passive-aggressiveness is not brutal honesty. Candor without care just makes you an asshole. Communicating well is being direct in your message and kind in your delivery. The goal isn't to sugarcoat the truth. It's to make it clear that you're trying to help.

I lost my wallet today. Started to panic but had a feeling since this is Japan, it would work out. 30 mins later there is an email informing me it was taken to the police box. I am now being reunited with my wallet and all it’s contents. The finder also refused compensation. ❤️
