In 2020, John Rave's dad fell down the stairs. He got up, went to sleep and then to work, and then died from internal bleeding. Rave's grief was heavy. But now, as the Royals prospect auditions in the AFL for a 40-man spot, he carries his dad with him. theathletic.com/3770306/2022/1…
Michael Massey grew up in the Chicago suburb of Palos Park. He used to ask his dad on Saturday mornings to come to Sox games as a kid. They would make the 20 min drive & buy $7 tickets. Today he starts at 2nd against his childhood team. Has anywhere from 40-70 people coming today
