Having been inundated with requests to do so, well, one person, I have launched a wee website for my book. You’ll find it here johnalexandercrawford.com
@MsLMG79 No, I was tempted but my passport expires in early November so I am victim to that stupid 6 month travel rule crap. Me and the one other Pars fan over here are going to find a pub to watch it in.
Dear @BBCNews
I notice you've suddenly started using the word 'homicide' in your reports on the BBC app.
Stop this nonsense - you and I are British, and I have absolutely no desire to talk more American. It's called murder, and in the UK always has been.
@5goalthriller I couldn’t possibly comment on the TOTP performance, but I did see him bouncing off buildings, like a human pinball, in Soho in London in the late nineties, before he stumbled across the threshold of a bar called Lupo. 😬

“No one escaped Bill's wit, but such was his charm, movie star (think Robert Redford) good looks & warmth no one took offence. Anne resembled a sixties pin-up - a blonde Cathy McGowan.”
Hope you enjoy reading.
Thank you, Colin
Yesterday, the ASSC hosted a tourism hustings at the Glen Mhor Hotel in Inverness, bringing together candidates from across the political spectrum to discuss the key issues shaping the future of the sector ahead of the Scottish Parliament election.
Chaired by Fiona Campbell MBE, the discussion covered regulation, housing, taxation and infrastructure, with a strong focus on the real challenges facing self-catering operators.
Key themes included the impact of short-term let regulation and the need for a more balanced, evidence-led approach to policy.
Independent research by BiGGAR Economics shows short-term lets contribute around £200 million GVA annually to the Highland economy and support nearly 7,000 jobs, despite accounting for less than 1% of Scotland’s housing stock.
Rising non-domestic rates were also a major concern, with increases of up to 88%, and in some cases 300%, placing significant pressure on businesses.
There was clear cross-party recognition that the current system is not working and requires reform.
Thank you to all candidates and attendees for a constructive and important discussion.
As we move towards the election, the ASSC will continue to ensure the voice of self-catering is heard.

@joannahsbyoung@DreyfusJames Man, what a song. I played the single to death. Also, true story, in English at Dunfermline High School, our teacher asked us to write a song’s lyrics and what they meant to us. I picked this since they printed the lyrics on the back of the sleeve.
