As someone who went to Miami (OH), would have loved to see them get a higher seed, but I think you can argue this is fair for them. Committee put them in a spot where: 1. You have to prove you can beat someone 2. You get a virtual home game (Arena is 40 miles from Miami campus)

Miami (OH) joins 2003-04 Saint Joseph's as the only Division I teams in the last 50 years to lose a game in its conference tournament after entering undefeated 😳 Those are also the only two instances in the last 75 years of the final unbeaten D-I team losing for the first time in a conference tournament.
