🚨 FYI the City of Charlottetown hired Island Coastal Construction today as scab workers to do a job which cost FAR more $ than it would have cost their CUPE workers. The following issues were witnessed on the job:

yesterday i had a membership meeting where members' stories had me staring at the horrors of the past like

i'm not being sarcastic. that's the good stuff. the majority of my time goes towards arguing with managers who act like full-diapered toddlers except their tantrums ruin people's lives. and expense forms. i hate expense forms.

the most exciting parts of my union work are when i get to revise survey templates and update charts and lists. the really great days are when i drive several hours on a weekend to have the same conversation over and over with (if i'm lucky) ten strangers.

would also work for an RPG, a steward/rep/organizer by nature of the role is justified in running around talking to everyone and asking lots of questions.

it seems entirely possible to take the structure of a copaganda show and instead make it about shop stewards/reps handling grievances. can get all kinds of different plots out of the protag just being overworked and assigned to too many different bargaining units.
