Negative campaign - I set up a campaign targeting a particular city in the US, but in the copy, I called out another city ( duplicated ad)
I was supposed to catch it, but I didn't even after looking through it a number of times.
In my defence, I had a very long lecture schedule that day and got home late, so I was super tired.
A tired brain rarely catches something off.
Learnt something that day.
1. You can publish a campaign, but keep it off for another review... You can catch mistakes with a fresher perspective.
2. Have a campaign checklist a list of the most important things you need to check before that ad goes live( very important)

BTW, Google Ads is way more complicated than Meta ads.
I took a refresher course on GA4 this year, but I'm still occasionally lost.
The reason is information overload.
Too many numbers and metrics to track whilst needing only a summary of result(s)

Just came off 2hr long campaign review meeting with the rest of the marketing team on existing ads and my current ad setup across Google and Meta.
First thing I did after was grab a cup of coffee because it's not me they want to kill.

Physicality is part of football... fouls are part of football.
This today's match has been their worst so far.
I can point out events that I didn't like ( Parades , etc)
But to me it's just football, it happens everytime... especially in South American football... that's their style.

I play football, and from what I know about football and what makes one player better than another, Messi is a better footballer.
I care about that football ability, someone better than you doesn't mean you're not good or great.
Ronaldo is better in aerial balls, that's something you can see.
