A different person from when he lied about Obama's birth certificate? Or when he lied it was safe for your family to go to church during a plague? Or when he had cops beaten for his 2020 lie? Or the lie abt Haitians eating pets. Trump sure is different now, eh?

Tucker Carlson is not repenting; he’s re-branding. He’s running for POTUS; and making sure he’s ahead of Vance on opposing war & dropping Trump. Tucker’s hated Trump for years. Tucker still only cares about Tucker; Trump is no longer useful. Not much has changed here.

Tucker Carlson: I’ll be tormented for a long time by the fact that I played a role in getting Donald Trump elected. We’re implicated in this. I misled people.

Dear Historians of the Future: In the midst of a Christian nationalist regime, the US Congress just accidentally did a Jesus-like thing. Trump seeks to deport hard working, US tax paying, local economy stimulating, Temporary Protected Status, majority-Christian, Haiti refugees; that America had welcomed when their lives were in jeopardy. Our own State Dept says Haiti is not safe to visit. And This WH wants to force these families back anyway. Now, I recognize that feeding the hungry, welcoming the stranger & not abandoning ppl to suffering is controversial; if one's religion is cable news. But these folks have followed the law, raised families & pretty much kept a lot of local healthcare infrastructures afloat w/their labor. Also, claiming that refugees America had welcomed were kidnapping and eating pets, even after the WSJ reported it was a lie, isn't covered under the Old or New Testaments. So this week, some brave GOPs recognized the economic benefits of their fellow humans; and voted to let them stay; for a bit longer. It's interesting to see who's been groomed to be upset about this. Every time the USA truly lives up Jesus's teachings, we see how far some of our leaders have drifted from them. In the midst of all this ugliness, this week we saw people helping people who need help— and if you're sick, they may be the people already helping you. And that's how Congress accidentally followed Jesus; and defied Caesar.
Rep. Greg Stanton@RepGregStanton

Forcing 350,000 Haitians to return home to face gang violence & instability could be a death sentence. Today, a bipartisan majority in Congress passed a bill to extend their Temporary Protected Status Trump is attempting to strip away. Grateful for @RepPressley's leadership on this & our colleagues who refused to back down.

A direct point by prominent author John Fugelsang. He dismantles the fake religious narrative of the Trump administration. He confirms there is no Jesus based argument for supporting a leader who constantly lies, incites violence, and relies on fundamentalist extremism.
