This is why I do what I do- I believe in fair play, getting on in life and that everyone should have a good life. But the elites are laughing at us- raking in the cash, chums getting plum jobs while my constituents can't pay their bills. I don't act from ideology- I act for what's best for people. My message has struck a chord because no matter your political opinion, we all agree that our lives are not getting better whilst the elites are thriving. Something has to change. I think it's worth building consensus on that so that all of our people have better lives and that power is held to account. No more elites shafting the little guy and rubbing our face in it!

So the Foreign Office overruled a failed security vetting for #PeterMandelson. Not a grey area - a clear rejection. Lets review the key facts as appears a lot of holes in No10's statement: - Vetting flagged risks (security clearance denied). - FCO officials intervened, greenlighting anyway. - No public disclosure until now. - Everyone that should have known, didn't know! This doesn't look like failed oversight. It looks like systemic rot. If even top-tier vetting bows to pressure, what safeguards protect the rest of us? When I was growing up, pubs would often be rammed until closing time (not so much during the week, but certainly at weekends). The bell for “last orders” would usually spark a rush to the bar. These days, even the most popular pubs seem to start emptying out around 8.00-9.00pm, including on Fridays and Saturdays. Has anyone else noticed this phenomenon? Is there a reason for it?
