On the 27th June, 1976, two โ€œPalestinianโ€ PLO terrorists and two German militants hijacked an Air France plane in Greece with 248 passengers and air crew. They forced the plane to land in Libya for refueling, and then to Entebbe, Uganda. The hijackers were greeted by the Ugandans and three more Palestinian hijackers joined them in Entebbe. They separated the Israeli passengers from non Israelis, releasing the non Israelis who were flown to France. The crew chose to remain with the Israeli hostages. The Ugandan military was deployed to assist the hijackers and the Ugandan airforce was put on standby to prevent any foreign forces from any potential rescue missions. On July 3rd, 1976, the Israeli government authorized a rescue mission. Yonatan Netanyahu (Benjamin Netanyahuโ€™s older brother) was head of the elite commando unit sent to Uganda to rescue the 106 remaining hostages. Once there, they destroyed most of the Ugandan aircraft, took out all the hijackers, and killed almost 50 Ugandan soldiers who were helping the hijackers. The Israelis were helped by the Kenyan government, and this led to the Ugandan president to order all Kenyans in Uganda to be slaughtered. Over 240 Kenyans were killed and several thousand fled. Only one Israeli commando was killed in the operationโ€ฆ Yonatan Netanyahu. Four hostages were also killed, one of which wasnโ€™t killed during the operation, but rather by Ugandan soldiers who murdered her at the hospital where she was being treated. This was one of the greatest rescue operations of all time. And who were the most vocal critics that condemned the rescue operation??? None other than the United Nations led by Kurt Waldheim who himself was later found to have been a senior Nazi officer during World War Two. Think about that for a moment. Innocent people were taken hostage by armed bloodthirsty Islamist terrorists and aided by an entire army of Muslim soldiers, and yet it was Israel that was criticized for daring to have the courage and morality of rescuing the innocent hostages who were the ones being condemned. Fast forward 50 years, and absolutely nothing has changed. The Islamists are still the ones killing and kidnapping. The Israelis are still the ones having to stand alone rescuing their people from the terrorists. And the United Nations are still the ones supporting and protecting the terrorists and condemning and vilifying Israel. There is nothing new in 2026 except for one thingโ€ฆ today we fight side by side for the first time together with the United States under Donald Trump, and boy do we kick ass when we stand united. So the next time the media tries to tell you that weโ€™re the bad guys for fighting to save and protect our people, remember this story. Am Israel Chai, and G-D Bless The United States of America.

In her final semester at Harvard, Amanda Nguyen was raped. She did everything survivors are told to do. Then she discovered that the physical evidence collected from her own body would be destroyed in 6 months โ€” unless she filed paperwork to stop it. And then filed it again. Every 6 months. Forever. She was 22 years old. She decided to change federal law instead. ๐ŸŒŸ Amanda had interned at NASA. She had big plans. The kind of future that takes years of hard work to build was finally within reach. Then everything shattered. She went to the hospital. She reported the assault to police. She endured the forensic exam. She made the careful decision to file her rape kit anonymously โ€” worried that an open case could affect security clearance applications for her dream careers. That's when the system revealed how broken it truly was. Because she was anonymous, Massachusetts law gave her only 6 months before her rape kit โ€” physical evidence collected from her own body โ€” would be permanently destroyed. Not the 15 years the state allowed for pressing charges. Six months. No official process to extend it. No clear instructions. No one to guide her. She had to figure it out herself, every 6 months, forcing herself to relive the worst experience of her life just to preserve her right to eventually seek justice. She started researching rape kit laws in all 50 states. What she found was staggering. Some states kept kits for years. Others destroyed them in as little as 30 days. Some states charged survivors for the cost of their own kit collection. Others never notified survivors what happened to their evidence. No consistency. No standard. *"Justice should not depend on geography,"* she said. But it did. In November 2014, Amanda founded Rise โ€” a nonprofit dedicated to changing that reality. Everyone who worked with Rise was a volunteer. They fundraised through crowdfunding. Their goal was rewriting federal law. She met with lawmakers across Washington. Staffers told her it wasn't a priority. Some questioned her story. She kept going. She learned that the most powerful thing she could do was stop being abstract โ€” to walk into a room, look a senator in the eyes, and say: *this happened to me. I am sitting in front of you.* Together with Senator Jeanne Shaheen, she drafted the Sexual Assault Survivors' Rights Act โ€” proposing that survivors should never be charged for their rape kit collection, should receive testing results, and must be notified at least 60 days before their evidence was scheduled for destruction. In February 2016, the bill was introduced. It passed the Senate unanimously. It passed the House unanimously. Not a single vote against. On October 7, 2016, President Obama signed the Sexual Assault Survivors' Rights Act into federal law. Amanda Nguyen was 24 years old. Rise continued working state by state. To date, Rise has helped pass 33 laws across the United States, covering protections for over 84 million rape survivors. A movement started in spare time, with no budget and only volunteers, became one of the most effective civil rights campaigns of its generation. And Amanda never stopped reaching for the stars โ€” literally. In 2024, Blue Origin announced she would be the first Vietnamese woman to fly to space. The young woman who had once feared that fighting for justice would cost her a future in space proved the two didn't have to be a choice. She was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Named a Time Woman of the Year. She wrote a memoir called *Saving Five.* But perhaps the most remarkable thing about Amanda Nguyen's story is not any single achievement. It is the fact that she turned the most painful moment of her life into something that made the world more just for millions of people who will never know her name. She was a college student who needed the system to work. When it didn't, she rebuilt it herself. **At 24 years old.

The Most Expensive Mistake Since Someone Invaded Russia in Winter For years, Trump told Europe it was freeloading. Not paying its share. Weak, comfortable, ungrateful. He said it so often it became received wisdom, carved into the MAGA catechism as though Moses himself had brought it down from the mountain. The numbers do not cooperate. European NATO members spent $454 billion on defence in 2024. Russia, the actual threat, spent $149 billion. Europe outspends the aggressor three to one. But that $454 billion is the floor, not the ceiling. Trump uses the narrowest possible accounting definition and presents it as the complete picture. European support to Ukraineโ€™s armed forces alone exceeds โ‚ฌ63 billion. None of that appears in the number he waves around at rallies. Meanwhile, America pays roughly 16 percent of NATOโ€™s common budget. Germany pays a similar share. The rest of the American defence budget funds 750 bases across 80 countries and the considerable overhead of running a global empire nobody formally asked Washington to build. At The Hague in 2025, Trump got his great concession. Europeans committed to 5 percent of GDP on defence by 2035. He called it a historic achievement. He was right, in the same way that a man who kicks over a hornets nest is right to call it a significant event. Because 80 percent of European defence spending already flows to domestic suppliers. The EU now formally targets 60 percent of all procurement from European manufacturers by 2035. Germany directs 92 percent of new defence purchases to European suppliers. American systems receive 8 percent. Berlin was once one of Washingtonโ€™s most reliable arms customers. It has quietly stopped being one, and European capitals are not embarrassed about why. European weapons arrive without usage restrictions, without congressional conditions, without the risk that a change in Washington renders your equipment politically unusable. Ukraine taught Europe that lesson at considerable cost. The American defence research machine runs partly on allied procurement. When Europeans buy American hardware, they co-fund the next generation of American military technology. When they stop, that bill lands on the American taxpayer. Trump demanded Europe pay more. Europe is paying more, to itself, building the industrial base that makes American partnership optional rather than necessary. He wanted customers. He created competitors. The arithmetic was never complicated. It just required someone to actually do it. Stay connected, Follow Gandalv @Microinteracti1
