@Trace_Urdan Trace, you are misinformed about Noodle's position on the Senate OPM inquiry. We do not think it should or will eliminate revenue share, for example. But OPMs need to be far more transparent, and we should end subsidizing marketing spend in higher ed.

@Trace_Urdan This all is 50% true, Trace. The opacity of the OPM model creates all sorts of weird incentives. AP makes millions by spending very little on its programs, for example. Rather than simply defend or attack, let's make the model transparent and accountable. :)

Good report. It's hard to measure K12 Edtech's cost or impact–just like the rest of K12. If we take an approach to data that is less about accountability and more about research, we could learn so much about what works.

A bit tired of people saying that can create an excellent online college course for under $25,000. They can say it only because the metrics are difficult and no one is keeping score. Accepting or ignoring this nonsense keeps us from collaborating on actual solutions.
