@MulletsDad It’s been like that in East Hampshire for ages. They used to be a leader in recycling but their current contractors don’t seem to have the kit to sort random plastics. Poor.

I've just had an email from my local authority about recycling. It contains the admonishment, "we can only recycle BOTTLE-SHAPED plastics" [my caps]. Why only those, for heaven's sake? We've been carefully washing and (I thought) recycling all sorts of other stuff.
