New emails confirm Boris Johnson's rise was engineered by a support team any leader would envy: Steve Bannon, Jeffrey Epstein, and Nigel Farage. Bannon texted Epstein directly: "We are overthrowing May right now." Johnson called this a "conspiracy theory." The conspiracy theory was just a group chat. And while Bannon apparently didn't make the final guest list for Johnson's gratitude round, the Prime Minister found room for his other controversial patron: Evgeny Lebedev—the Russian-born newspaper owner whose father was a KGB officer, whom MI5 personally briefed Johnson against making a Lord, and who now sits in Parliament as Baron Lebedev of Siberia .
