Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Today is April 28! This one is especially precious. Born in the year 1963 that Nigeria became a Republic and today, I am 63! Meaningful and memorable. Thank You, Lord! I love You, Lord Oh, Your mercy never failed me And all my days, I've been held in Your hands From the moment that I wake up Until I lay my head Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God All my life You have been faithful All my life You have been so, so good With every breath that I am able Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God I love Your voice You have led me through the fire In darkest night You are close like no other I've known You as a Father I've known You as a Friend Oh, I have lived in the goodness of God, oh-oh-oh And all my life You have been faithful All my life You have been so, so good With every breath that I am able Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God Your goodness is running after, it's running after me Your goodness is running after, it's running after me With my life laid down, I'm surrendered now I give You everything 'Cause Your goodness is running after, it's running after me Your goodness is running after, it's running after me Your goodness is running after, it's running after me With my life laid down, I'm surrendered now I give You everything 'Cause Your goodness is running, it keeps running after me! ✝️🙇🏾‍♀️🙇🏾‍♀️🙇🏾‍♀️🙇🏾‍♀️🙇🏾‍♀️💜💝😁 #AGloriousAndHappiestBirthday #ASpecialExtravagantWorship #ALifeOfThanksLiving ✍🏾✍🏾✍🏾

Most people are surprised when they hear I went from professional football to green chemistry. But to me, it was a natural transition. ⚽️👨🏽‍🔬 Growing up in the south of France, I was surrounded by nature and the sea from an early age. As my football career progressed, so did my awareness of global warming and the impact that different industries have on the environment and on our health. The products most of us use every day, from shampoos to cleaning products to paints, are still built on fossil-based ingredients. Changing that became my mission.🌱 In 2013, I co-founded GFBiochemicals to make everyday products safer and more sustainable using plant-based ingredients. Football prepared me for this journey more than I expected the discipline, the resilience, and what it truly means to be part of a team. But there is an important shift: as a player, you’re judged on your own performance. As a founder & CEO, your role is to lead and inspire your team, and to share success together. I spoke with Harvard Business Review France about my journey: the transition from international footballer to Green Chemistry entrepreneur, the challenge of building in a sector I came to as an outsider. Last night as I lay before the Lord in deep prayer the heavens opened and I received a revelation The Spirit of God showed me that many of His children are struggling not because they are not trying not because they do not pray but because of ancient foundations roots buried deep in ancestral grounds Some of these battles are tied to the villages of our fathers and mothers foundations that have spoken limitations into destinies holding back progress in life in business in marriage But hear me today child of God there is a higher foundation The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 3 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid which is Jesus Christ And again in Colossians 2 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us nailing it to His cross I stand on this ground soaked with the blood of innocent Christians and I use it as a point of contact The blood speaks yes it speaks louder than any ancestral voice louder than any curse louder than any evil foundation And the blood of Jesus speaks even better things From today every chain is broken Every ancestral limitation is destroyed Every power holding you back loses its grip in the name of Jesus For it is written in Isaiah 10 27 The yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing I pray for you now O Lord of Heaven arise and scatter every evil foundation speaking against Your children Let the fire of the Holy Ghost consume every inherited battle By the power in the blood of Jesus I declare freedom progress and restoration Where there was delay let there be speed Where there was pain let there be healing Where there was bondage let there be total deliverance From today your story changes From today your struggle ends From today you walk in victory In the mighty name of Jesus Christ Amen 🙏

@inecnigeria Is INEC Amupitan's lawyer?? What sort of madness is this? Nobody is accusing INEC, but INEC has taken it upon themselves to defend the accused. This regime has made a right mess of all our institutions. They don't even know their job descriptions anymore
