**HERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF ROBOT MUSIC taking money away from real musicians.** - it has a nice vibe in parts, mashed up and stolen from other tracks. - none of the transitions have proper human intent - just listen to the ratcheting 'click' at the modulation at 4'30. - a lazy opportunist has created it from a prompt, and it's gone viral on tiktok because of its 'vibe' - which was entirely stolen from human light music from the early 20thC and mashed up in a different context. - Such 'mashing up' is happening to music of all genres and historical time periods, and has no respect for either intellectual copyright or recording rights. open.spotify.com/track/1pDrvPnw…

Various recorded albums, supposedly by me, have just appeared on streaming platforms and download sites. These are fakes, created via AI by criminals. DO NOT buy/stream them or any tracks from them. We are taking all possible steps to have them taken down. JR

Choral music is wonderfully participatory. The thing that strikes me most strongly when I go around the country for Come and Sing days is how people feel in some way lifted up and their troubles have gone. They just feel more whole, somehow more complete... JR

We’re really enjoying our trail camera. It's amazing to see just how much wildlife activity there is at 5am and to get a glimpse of the world waking up before sunrise. There are more wildlife photos to share with you all soon!

I was useless at sport. One of the nicest things about singing in a choir was that I could still contribute to a team effort, even though it wasn't on the football field. JR Good luck to the teams!

Look what has just arrived in the post from @OUPMusic Cityscapes: this refreshed three-movement version of 'Partita for Orchestra' (1976) brings together three contrasting city portraits into a single orchestral work. bit.ly/4v2gaLG

50 years ago… how can that be? On this day in 1976, ‘Gloria’ was published by Oxford University Press. 50 years later, the work continues to be performed by choirs and audiences around the world. Listen on your favourite platform. lnk.to/RutterGloria
