#HSE #DOH cannot afford to keep the beds they have open so why get more beds to close????

13/ So I do feel anxious about the State wishing to buy private hospitals to increase public capacity. Our total capacity (public and private) in Ireland suboptimal based on our population. We need more beds rather than just taking beds from one sector and putting into the other.

All medical staff, doctors, nurses all the various people needed for a hospital to work want to help any way they can, why is the HSE preventing this. All patients needing care should be looked after. Anybody paying private health insurance is subsiding the HSE.

Many doctors prevented from treating any patients in the now public , previously private, hospitals . Empty wards and theatres everywhere.Patients moved from public hospitals just for show and staff sitting around with nothing to do.

What I really feel uncomfortable about the #CancelTheContract is the focus only on Private Patients. A large number of public system patients are suffering from cancelled life saving procedures or appointments where is the pressure for their appointments to restart.
