“Defence investment” is a force for literally none of these things.
Just look at Barrow-in-Furness, which boasts BAE’s biggest UK naval factory AND some of the worst rates of deprivation in the country.

@DickWinchester @katheder Scotland and New Zealamd have a very similar population size and Scotland raises more in taxation than New Zeland to the tune of over £20bn. Yet New Zealand manage just fine as an independent nation, so, why couldn't Scotland with more in tax revenues, rescources and alike? 🤔🙄
