I can't remember a bigger choke in a playoff game than Orlando tonight..60pts in 1H..19pts in 2H..they blow a 22 pt lead after missing 23 shots in a row in a game where they could have closed out series..Unthinkable !!!
@NoaDalzell One change is not enough. Play Baylor and Luka more. Reduce time for Derrick and Hauser and especially Vooch if they aren’t producing. Most importantly, and if I had to pick one thing, give 110% effort.
I have 26 hours to figure out if I need to switch from my office to the living room for Game 7 or stick it out in the same spot
3 wins and 3 losses all from the same place.
My gut says this needs new vibes/energy like the Celts need more Walsh/Baylor minutes, but there's also a part of me that says old reliable will come through
@GlennDOrdway is it just me that believes this year's C's team is just so special that it can break history and actually lose the 3-1 advantage? If any team can do it, these guys can. sigh.
Jaylen Brown says that he's looking forward to Game 7 on the Celtics' home floor:
"All things considered, we're in a great spot...Last two games wasn't our best, but you move on...I'm excited for Game 7."
If we’re being completely honest with each other, if we get to watch Joe Mazzulla get fired and then be named the NBA Coach of The Year, that’d be pretty goddamn funny.
@BobbyKrivitsky Hit some free throws before the crowd takes you guys seriously. Pass the ball to find better shots. Rebound and play defense. No stupid fouls and turnovers. Play Baylor and Luka more.
Jaylen Brown while discussing the Celtics’ pace these last two games and hunting mismatches more than they were during much of the regular season:
“I expect us to show up great. I expect our crowd to show up great.”
@RealBobManning You’re crazy. Body language in first half tells us this was another loss coming up. Just lose to Philly before the Knicks embarrass this team again. I’ve enjoyed the regular season. Thanks Celtics. A lotto pick would’ve been better.
Call me crazy, but with everything going against the C's and a crisis brewing, this feels like one of those games they somehow find a way to win. Tatum's play, White shots sprinkling in, Queta's fight in his minutes before the sub give me some hope. Still 16 minutes to go.
Knicks are beating the Celtics next round btw.
Their center depth is terrible. Derrick White can’t shoot. Role players are young and inexperienced.
Knicks in 6.
