You see what I was talking about last time? Cricket Wireless is using AT&T towers to offer cheaper plans to customers who want to spend less, even though both companies are owned by the same parent. So why can’t the government allow MTN to upgrade its equipment to higher speeds and lease its nationwide infrastructure to AirtelTigo while still prioritizing MTN users, just like AT&T does?

Before we you blame Gadayi for being slow, know this. He was the emergency replacement for Fuseini, and this is how we got him to Gaborone. He arrived a noght before the heats, no recovery and didn’t train with the team and was asked to go and run for Ghana. He did his best.
Akosua Adjei@Akosua__Adjei

Gadayi came to Accra by bus when we needed him to be part of the team so bad. I Kumasi to Accra not less than 1 hour by flight? He got down from the car to use a motor. ahhhhh Some stories write themselves.

That’s why Indians are getting opportunities in tech all over the world, because data prices are affordable, so the youth can research, watch YouTube videos, and learn on their own, while the government builds and promotes their capabilities globally. No government should spend large amounts on programs that require internet access when that access is still poor and expensive.

Those people tagging me in that post, that Google Career Certificate that Google Africa posted and Sam George quoted has been around since 2020. It started during Covid. There are many platforms like Cybrary, TryHackMe, and edX where you can learn and earn online certifications. This is why you need affordable data so you can stay online and research things like this. That way, a minister cannot take your 100,000,000 GHC and claim he invented something when he has not done anything for people who already have these online certifications.

Now you people are asking why I even met with the NCA. Let me tell you this. The data advocacy was something I took upon myself to put pressure on the government to influence data prices in the country. After I met with the NCA, I posted all the questions I asked them along with their replies, and that made me realize the issue is not just the NCA but the entire government. That is when I started adding hashtags of the whole party and the Vice President. Also remember, I took risks for something I knew I would not personally benefit from. In fact, some of you insulted me, and that didn’t stop me. I even received threats from some of you but still didn’t care. Later, I realized it was not safe for me in Ghana, so I relocated to the US. On my first day in the US, I continued the advocacy and pushed until the election was over. After the change of government, I paused for 1 month and continued again. But many people who supported the cause last year were now against cheaper data because it is now their government. More insults and threats followed, even though I am no longer in the country and should be focusing on my new life, but I kept pushing until there was some change. I even wanted to continue because the changes were not what we deserved, but many of you called me ungrateful for asking for something more affordable for you. You can hate me as much as you want, but I don’t care which party is in power. I am living a great life, and I genuinely want to see my people happy, not just a few people in government. I can choose not to speak about anything going on in the country ever again and still be fine, and my life will keep on being better and better. I just hope things get better.

Ibrahim Traore continues to deceive the public with the narrative that he remains in power to protect Burkina Faso from Western influence. However, since he seized power in 2022, nearly every major initiative has been financed by the very institutions he vilifies in his speeches. The financial record is clear, in 2023, he secured $302 million from the IMF, followed by another $124.3 million in February 2026. His reliance on the World Bank is equally stark, having received $167 million and $100.4 million in 2025, and an additional $216.9 million in 2026. He delivers angry speeches to the masses while accepting budgets from the West, the very entity he claims to be blocking is literally keeping Burkina Faso's economy afloat. Traore is contractually obligated to follow IMF Governance Diagnostics regarding mining and state spending. While he preaches freedom, he is managing a $942.8 million tab with Western banks, a debt that future generations must repay. Despite his anti-Western rhetoric, Traore has voluntarily placed Burkina Faso's economic steering wheel in the hands of Washington based technocrats. The tragedy is that many fail to look past his hollow words to see the reality beneath. Ibrahim Traore is not a liberator, he is a fraud already clinging to power.

I watched the Public Accounts Committee sitting yesterday and was shocked at how Hon. Abena Osei casually dismissed Hon. Edem Agbana as “young man” along with other disrespectful remarks. This has become a pattern. She has repeatedly used that chair to belittle people and it is getting out of hand. A Member of Parliament represents thousands of citizens. You judge that leader by competence and mandate, not by reducing them to age or speaking to them with contempt. Her conduct was unacceptable. It disrespects the office Hon. @edemagbana holds and the people who elected him. This is not the behaviour Ghanaians expect from someone presiding over a national committee. She must stop this attitude immediately and apologise. Ghana’s politics cannot continue on this path.
