Commentary: Communities have always competed for economic advantage. Ohio's method of doing so over decades now has been to hand out subsidies, slash corporate taxes, and remove oversight and accountability. It hasn't worked very well for everyday people ohiocapitaljournal.com/2026/04/03/tur…

Jesse Ventura: “I’m still not over January 6th. That was treason. All of the people should have been arrested and put in prison all the way to Trump because he and Giuliani and all of them orchestrated the whole thing. He tried to violate the Constitution”

OHIO JUST SHOWED THE WORLD HOW TO BUILD A POLICE STATE IN PLAIN SIGHT Ohio put your face in a database in 2013 and never told you. Every driver's license photo. Enrolled in facial recognition. No public hearing. No disclosure. 30,000 cops and court employees have access. But facial recognition was just the foundation. Here is the full surveillance architecture Ohio has deployed with zero regulation: 1/ TALEN: AI fusion platform merging body cams, dash cams, public cameras, private security cameras, social media feeds, ShotSpotter gunshot detection, and license plate readers into a single surveillance system. Rollout planned for 1,000 law enforcement agencies. 35,000 end users. 2/ AG Dave Yost signed a Clearview AI contract. Billions of scraped photos, now state-sanctioned. 3/ Safeguard Ohio: America's first AI suspicious activity system. Citizens upload video, audio, photos. An AI chatbot conducts the intake interview. Everything routes to the Statewide Terrorism Analysis and Crime Center. 4/ Flock Safety license plate readers across 24+ communities and 37 state highway patrol units. Cross-jurisdiction shared database. Deployed at schools. 5/ Autonomous drone fleets. Columbus PD RAVEN launches drones from patrol cars. Ohio State University launches drones from rooftops. Hamilton County fields 16 drones. 6/ Anduril Arsenal-1: a $1 billion, 5 million square foot autonomous weapons factory near Columbus producing AI-powered drones at industrial scale. None of this is regulated by state law. Not one piece of it. Now follow the money. Peter Thiel built Palantir into the world's dominant surveillance data company. He funded JD Vance's Senate campaign. Vance sat on the InnovateOhio board advocating mandatory digital IDs for all Ohioans. Vivek Ramaswamy is running for Ohio governor. His backers: Thiel, Vance, Joe Lonsdale, Howard Lutnick. Leslie Wexner, Jeffrey Epstein's primary financial patron, constructed New Albany, Ohio as a private technocratic enclave built on tax incentives. JobsOhio operates as a private corporation with $1.4 billion in taxpayer funds and no public transparency requirements. The architecture scales in one direction: local capture (New Albany tax deals), state capture (JobsOhio, InnovateOhio), federal capture (Vance as VP, DOGE), international export. Ohio is not an outlier. Ohio is the template for every state in America. Bookmark this. Send it to everyone in Ohio. Then check what your own state is building.

Commentary: Ohio lawmakers continue to insist they are acting “to protect children” but instead of addressing the actual, documented leading cause of death for children in our state, gun violence, they are spending their time restricting drag performances. ohiocapitaljournal.com/2026/04/01/ban…

@WhiteHouse But that oil is extracted by private contractors who sell most of that oil abroad, and what it sells to us, domestically, is based on the WORLD OIL PRICE, so we have to pay more for it in America anyway. There's no winning here. You don't tell MAGA that, do you?

Vivek Ramaswamy's plan to close our universities won’t just devastate local economies and cut jobs; it will make college more expensive for far too many Ohioans. Truly spoken like someone who rarely sees the greatness of our campuses because he's flying over them in his private jet. Go Penguins.

This repeal is designed to centralize power, not benefit Ohioans. The revenue will have to be recouped somewhere else. Either via a sales tax increases to 15-20%, income tax increases to 11-15%, or shifting tax liability to utility companies, thus doubling your payments.

🚨 Ohio could become the FIRST state in America to abolish property taxes entirely. A grassroots group led by Brian Massie and Leonard Gilbert is collecting signatures for a constitutional amendment to eliminate all residential and commercial property taxes — and put it on the November ballot. What started as protecting seniors from being taxed out of their lifelong homes has exploded into a statewide movement after lawmakers refused to even meet with them. Massie says his own taxes jumped 40% in 10 years. Gilbert hears daily from seniors on fixed incomes watching their bills skyrocket. They need ~413,000+ valid signatures by July to qualify. (They’re aiming higher for a cushion.) Opponents warn it would blow a $24 billion hole in the state budget — threatening schools, police, fire, EMS, and rural services. Gov. DeWine floated raising the sales tax to 18-20% to fill the gap. Supporters fire back: Cut spending first. No new taxes. Lawmakers get a full year to reform before collections stop. This could be one of Ohio’s biggest ballot fights in decades. Would you vote to end property taxes? #Ohio #AbolishPropertyTaxes #AxOHTax #TaxReform #BallotInitiative

They made compassion sound weak and cruelty sound righteous. In this clip, John Fugelsang and I talk about how language gets twisted to shame compassion, from “bleeding heart” to “politically correct” to “woke.” This is not random. It is part of a larger pattern of thought reform, propaganda, and moral inversion, where manipulation hides inside familiar words. Watch the full video here: youtu.be/fV-medb-Ou0
