This goes for everyone. Maine basketball is more than Lewiston/EL, Portland/SoPo, Brewer/Bangor. Small schools have GREAT players every year that should be recognized.

One thing I’ve found on this side of the Maine high school landscape is the lack of spotlight on Class C and D sports by people that supposedly want to grow the game. If you’re not covering great players and teams from small schools then it’s just a popularity contest.

this is and isn't a surprise...yes Cheverus is very talented, but reffan saw TA play, they are not as talented as the Catholics, but they play hard! And Nellie can coach...give him some gritty kids, he will have the team in the hunt!

Got to see a big statement made by the TA boys’ today. Looked borderline dominant against one of the best teams in the state. Coach Nelson is doing a terrific job with this team, and Wyatt Benoit should, at the very least, be a finalist for Mr. Maine Basketball.
