@CorkHurlingPod @oisinlangan Last year every team got 1 knockout game so there is increased jeopardy in 2026 with 4 teams not qualifying and 3 to be relegated so it will be interesting to see how it works out.

@johnsheehan57 @oisinlangan Seems like a decent set up although I think 3qualifying out of group instead of 4 would be more cutthroat and add more jeopardy which would boost competitive nature of it all this raising standards

@CorkHurlingPod @oisinlangan Yes 8 weekends. Senior being reduced to 10 teams for 2027 so 3 to be relegated including Ballygunner B. Top 4 each group in quarter finals 1v4 2v3. Both 6th placed teams are relegated. If Ballygunner B finish 6th then both 5th placed teams play off for final relegation spot.

@oisinlangan Just curious does the championship have 8 match day weekends? 5group games then 3 knockout rounds aka quarters semi + final? 3 out of each group qualify with a by to smie for top seeds? Just curious about the structure ye have

My Dad passed away last night & I am absolutely devastated 😢 The man who introduced me to gaelic football & began my obsession with Armagh GAA is no longer here. I am so glad he got to see us win the All Ireland again & was able to attend the Homecoming. I will always miss him
