@MartinSLewis There’s no such thing as 30 free hours as our nursery implements a compulsory ‘Additional Service Charge’ which has just gone from £1.50 to £1.90 per hour! The nurseries have us over a barrel as they know we need the childcare in order to work and the govt’s help is insufficient.

Just writing about Tax Free Childcare, so many miss out, not helped by the appalling, confusing, misleading name. It gives an effective 25% discount to those eligible who save then pay for childcare. It's not about tax, that over-complicates what is a savings account. Time to rename it eg Help for Childcare savings or something. Thoughts?

Disgusting #Grinch behaviour at #aldiUK this morning!Husband went to buy 2 sets of #KevinTheCarrot and was told one tomato and one sprout...the nice guy behind offered to buy the others so that my unborn baby didn’t go without and the checkout lady threatened him with management!

And 2 adults made it to dinner and they wouldn’t let them bring presents from Santa back for the kids!! #scrooge

@InghamsSki have no contingency for ice. Reps said the road by our cabin would be gritted. At 21 weeks pregnant, we got our hopes up, esp the kids, that we would make gala dinner and see Santa. <10m down the road, 2 of us fell. We had to turn around!! 😢 #BahHumbug #Christmas
