Depends on the topic… Like mixing ratios of carbon, sulfur and saltpeter. Or using a distillation tube to separate water components, capturing the hydrogen gas in balloons and using fire crackers to cause a reaction. The kind of things that can get you suspended in the 9th grade.

@FrankBr05713205 Absolutely! The prices may invoke a tear, but quality tools allow high quality and efficient work. And that’s where the $$ is. I only allowed 2 borrows of my tools. After the second time, you need to get your own.

It pays to buy quality tools. One of my auto students was trying to break a flare nut loose with this generic line wrench, and it broke. I gave him my Snap On line wrench from my personal toolbox and it broke it free with no problem. One more reason I always buy quality hand tools.
