In shock—absolutely no one is seeing the white supremacist, neo-Nazi symbols at the Lara and Eric Trump “Ultimate Trump Boat Parade.” What caught my attention was Mike Lindell, the My Pillow Guy, running a $14.88 sale—yes, that’s real, and the person in the video stressed it. 1488 is a well-known neo-Nazi antisemitic code. The “14” refers to “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children,” while “88” stands for “Heil Hitler,” a slogan invented by antisemitic groups to promote hate and glorify Nazi ideology. It’s rooted in a worldview that seeks to justify violence and discrimination, particularly against Jewish people. These numbers have become a rallying cry for white nationalists and are openly used in spaces like this parade, pushing hateful ideologies into the mainstream.

I live in Eastern North Carolina. Relief agencies here are suggesting that we not travel to the areas affected by Hurricane Helene as they are in the middle of rescue and recovery operations. They do not want an influx of people into an already unstable area. Donald Trump has no business traveling to Georgia right now. This is a brazenly performative and calculated measure and is simply an effort to weaponize millions of people's trauma to aid his faltering campaign. While president, Donald Trump did nothing to help Americans during natural disasters or public health emergencies, but exacerbated them by his incompetence and abject cruelty. His Project 2025 would: - Eliminate FEMA - Eliminate the National Weather Service - Eliminate federal-backed flood insurance - Eliminate emergency disaster funding for state/local governments Donald Trump is a conman, a criminal, and he lacks any decency or empathy. The fact that he would turn wide-scale American suffering and death into a photo-op, shows again why he doesn't deserve a single American's vote.
