Politics isn't all anger, hate and cynicism. Bonds of trust built through respect, empathy, and grit are far stronger than deceit or cynicism. Today, @andy4makerfield's launch is a glimmer of hope. This letter blew me away, from a constituent in Makerfield. Trust. Hope.

Sarah Pochin looks absolutely pathetic here, like a mean girl at school, looking Hannah up and down with pure bitterness. “Get a life”? So you think it’s acceptable for MPs to be drinking before voting on policies that affect all our lives? #PMQs

@lukejcr Pathetic from you trying to associate a working man shouting a few home truths at Labour's chancellor who choose to film in a public space with violence against women, this coming from the party and you were one of them who vote against the rape gang inquiry hypocrisy again

@SangitaMyska She handled it well under the circumstances, I don't warm to Rachel Reeves but I don't like random men heckling women they don't know in the street & my views would be exactly the same towards a female from any political party. If this becomes normal, accepted, whats next? a slap

Never going to see a referee back themselves ever again when they go to the monitor. He followed the laws of the game, Webb admitted to Forest he had ‘justifiable reasons’ to award the goal and Webb himself was on TV defending a similar decision from an official this season. 🫩
BBC Sport@BBCSport

❌ The referee for Man Utd's win over Nottingham Forest has been left out of the Premier League's final round of games. Michael Salisbury allowed Matheus Cunha's goal to stand, despite Bryan Mbeumo handling the ball in the build-up.

The facts are these. Pep Guardiola took charge of a club and spent copious amounts of illegally gained money and is leaving before the shit hits the fan.

Pep Guardiola is “furious” at the timing of news around his #ManCity exit, whilst the players are “in a state of shock” having been told as recently as Saturday that he would be staying. Source: “Pep is furious at the timing just before a game. He summoned the players to join a late night group call and confirmed he was leaving. He apologised for the way the news emerged. It took him by surprise. The players were told as recently as Saturday he wasn’t going so everyone is in a state of shock…” [via @SunSport]

🚨 Pep Guardiola is leaving Manchester City. And before City fans start writing his obituary as the greatest manager of all time, let’s have a quick word. 19 trophies in 10 years at City. Impressive. Genuinely. Nobody is taking that away. But let’s put some context around those numbers before the statues get commissioned. Guardiola had the most expensively assembled squad in Premier League history at his disposal. Every single transfer window. Every single year. Limitless resources. A club willing to spend whatever it took, and a Financial Fair Play case hanging over them that somehow never seemed to slow anything down. Need a full-back? £50 million. Need a centre-back? £60 million. Need a striker? £100 million. Need depth? Buy another international. Most managers are forced to solve problems. Pep simply replaced them. Now compare that to Sir Alex Ferguson. Sir Alex won 13 Premier League titles, 2 Champions Leagues and 5 FA Cups with a club he built from the ground up. He developed young players, rebuilt multiple generations and dominated English football for 27 years, not 10. He did it through the Eric Cantona years, the Roy Keane years, the Cristiano Ronaldo years and the Ryan Giggs years. Different squads. Different eras. Same outcome.

Manchester City fans like @lawrence_bury claiming Pep Guardiola is the Greatest Premier League Manager ever are as retarded as cycling enthusiasts claiming Lance Armstrong is the GOAT! He’s a fucking CHEAT! Cheat as a player, Cheat as a Manager and he’s jumping ship before the 115 charges hit. The End.

@johnson_led @Isaac_AFC_ Rubbish again, City complied with all time scales attended all the hearings when scheduled you are making things up the panel that heard the evidence are the ones who are taking the time and that has nothing to do with City and it's wasted Citys time!!

@johnthompson687 @Isaac_AFC_ What you talking about? City have not been supporting the case in terms of information gathering, which is also another legal issue to be added to the 115 charges. They've been doing everything to waste everyone's time from the start. So don't say this isn't City's fault. 🫣

And you guys will still believe that Manchester City doesn’t control the entire league. Here are fouls committed by Khusanov and not a single one was called, yet you see Caicedo commit one foul and he gets a yellow card immediately.
