When I was at school we only cared about riding our bikes, playing computer games into the night and smuggling alcohol into the park. Why are we pushing politics and division in classrooms? No wonder there’s a mental health crisis amongst young people. Let kids be kids!

School uniforms are a socio-economic leveller. No matter the parent’s financial situation, the child goes to school in the same clothes as his/her peers. Surely allowing tracksuits will lead to a designer fashion show and the ridicule and bullying of poorer kids?
