I am grateful that many of Ukraine’s proposals have been taken into account in the EU sanctions package. We now expect strong sanctions steps from the United States as well – Europe is doing its part. Everyone can now see Russian interference – against Poland, and yesterday against Estonia. These are not accidental incidents. Russia will continue trying to spread its aggression, destabilization, and interference. This is their system. This must be countered, also systemically, and together. I thank everyone who is helping.

Our counteroffensive operation in the Donetsk Region—Pokrovsk and Dobropillia sectors—continues. It was one of the most important axes for the Russians, but they failed to mount a full-scale offensive here. Our army is destroying their forces—inflicting heavy losses, taking POWs.

Since last night, Russia has been carrying out a drone attack on Ukraine – nearly 90 strike UAVs. Our warriors managed to neutralize most of them. I thank them for defending our skies. The Donetsk region, Kyiv region and the capital, Sumy region, Kharkiv region, Chernihiv region, and Dnipro region all came under attack. Among the targets were Ukraine’s infrastructure and our enterprises. In Pavlohrad, Dnipro region, two people were wounded. In Kyiv, recovery efforts are underway after the Russian attack, which damaged public transport infrastructure. All necessary services are involved. Once again, the Russians strike civilians at a time when the entire world – and above all the United States – is calling for peace. We hear President Trump’s position on ending the killings, and we have agreed to all the proposals to unblock diplomacy. But it seems this position is not being heard in Russia. This means that we must more actively implement everything that strengthens us: the PURL initiative, co-production, and the finalization of security guarantees. On the table are large-scale agreements on drones and arms procurement that Ukraine has proposed to the United States. Decisive action is needed so that Russia ultimately agrees to diplomacy as well. Let me give you some good news: last week, we held great anti-oligarchy rallies in Iowa and Nebraska. The American people believe in democracy. They do not want to see us move toward oligarchy or authoritarianism. That's true in purple, blue, and red states.

A nation that fights so bravely earns respect for its state. And that respect turns into steps of support from partners. I am proud of all our people who, every day on the battlefield, through their actions and courage, do everything to ensure that Ukraine receives the necessary protection and that our partners continue supporting our fight. I am grateful to every country and leader who stands with Ukraine and works alongside us to strengthen our defenders. I thank our warriors and everyone thanks to whom Ukraine stands and will endure.

Today, there has been a lot of international work. Our teams are working with the United States as we prepare for negotiations this Friday. The agreement with the U.S. The support of our country and people. Peace and security guarantees are the key to ensuring that Russia can no longer destroy the lives of other nations.
