I reviewed World of Warcraft: Midnight. You guys know I love WoW, but I feel like Blizzard is increasingly stretching itself thin in recent expacs, leaving various parts of the game unpolished. Crucially, this includes the main story, even if side quests are disproportionately strong this time around. Visuals are great as always, Prey is interesting, new dungeons and raids are good too. Visually stunning is laughable. The textures and fidelity are garbage and their shadows are laughable. The effects look the exact same as 8 and the overall usage of post processing can’t save it by covering up imperfections. It’s kinda the same problem the new era Zelda games have.
