You will never see the rich complaining about high cost of living, it's only the poor who complain. Take an example, yesterday's fuel price demonstrations, you never saw demonstrations in Kilimani, Kileleshwa, Lavington and Karen but there was demonstrations in Githurai, Nyeri and Murang'a. Whenever there's a crisis the rich always look for loopholes to make money while you concentrate on complaining and demonstrating, because at every crisis that's the best time to invest and get good returns. By the time you're done complaining and demonstrating they're also done making good money and move to the next opportunity. That's how rich people move while poor people complain.

Rigathi Gachagua supporters are completely misunderstanding my point. My question is simple.... why is Rigathi constantly defending Uhuru Kenyatta as if the opposition’s future must be built around sanitising the same regime many of us opposed for years? Some of us have documented tweets from as far back as 2013 questioning the corruption, state capture and excesses around the Kenyatta regime, his family and the networks that surrounded power at the time. These are not imaginary issues or history we read from books. These are things we witnessed, challenged and documented in real time. If the opposition is serious, it should stop dragging Kenyans back into Nyayo-era politics of kingpins, loyalty, betrayal and personal worship. Kenyans need to hear serious answers on the rot inside Ruto’s regime, the debt crisis, unemployment, taxation, cost of living, police brutality, corruption, public wastage and how they intend to fix the country. Rigathi placing himself at the altar of Uhuru every day will not solve anything for ordinary Kenyans. If their real agenda is just to return to power and eat, they should be honest enough to say so, because many Kenyans are now old enough and politically awake enough to ask leaders exactly what they want. This country does not need another recycled power arrangement disguised as liberation. It needs a serious opposition with a serious programme.
