Most ecosystems talk about founders and their ideas but not enough about founder stamina. The real question isn’t just: Is this a good idea?
It’s also: Can the person building it sustain the journey?
Because building a company doesn’t just test how you think. It tests how long you can keep thinking clearly.
At the Bootcamp in Alibaug, we worked with AntiGravity to design a simple but uncomfortable layer into the process: Founder Readiness. We evaluated individuals across fitness, mobility, strength, endurance, recovery & lifestyle discipline. The goal was not to find the fittest in the room but to understand who could sustain intensity without breaking form.
Early-stage building isn’t a sprint of ideas. It’s a sustained load. Long days. Ambiguity. Constant context switching. Decisions without clear answers.
At the end of the day, ideas don’t get built by hunger alone. They get built by people who can stay functional under pressure. At The Foundery, we are not just asking “is this a strong founder?”
We’re asking “can this person hold up when things get hard?”
