$META and $AMZN massive options flows from yesterday all saw OI going up today 🌊
First reaction was “is this a butterfly?”
Maybe..
Then I thought a long convexity structure simply because of the cross trade.
But that’s not the point.
Positions were opened basically as Nasdaq enters a bear market, size is massive, and OI confirms it’s new positioning.
Look at the strikes:
META 700 / 750 / 800
AMZN 250 / 275 / 300
Heavy size in the middle!
This isn’t blind upside chasing.
This is structured, bullish positioning around a defined upside zone.
January 2027 gives it time to play out, and since 2X size is concentrated in the middle, that’s where the structure is most efficient by expiration.

I think everyone saw the massive $META options trade that went up today for over $1B 🌊💰 Been digging into it and this isn’t random flow, it looks like a very deliberate structure into Jan 2027. Size is massive and it didn’t go through like typical prints either, this was crossed and negotiated with intent. Going to wait for open interest tomorrow to confirm, then I’ll break it down for you guys.

Honestly this is the best thing that could happen to the market vs. the slow grind down with a billion bull/bear traps. $Qqq is at 100 week in pre and $spy is just slightly above it, vix at 38+. I know it’s confusing trying to figure out the degree each stock is going to be impacted by these tariffs and whether the tariffs will stick or not. But these indices are dropping so fast so quickly that if you’ve been sitting on some cash and waiting to deploy, and can’t figure out what to buy given how fast things are moving, DCAing into the indices might not be the worst idea here. This surely can’t go on for much longer, otherwise things will start breaking.
