I spent the last 2 hours in a class on Cashflow Management with @gkbalogs sponsored by @creditdirectltd and it has been the best investment of my time this weekend. I can’t wait to implement everything at @lenoracareer. For anyone who missed it, this post has my major lessons and action plan. Let’s get started, shall weeeee🤩 Cash flow is how money comes in and out of your business. To manage it well, you time it in the right cycle: Sales, Collection, then Payout. He explained it through the analogy of water filling a leaking bucket. And it’s so accurate because your business is always filling and always leaking at the same time. When it’s leaking more than it’s filling: 🦋Increase the pressure of the taps: Upfront payment terms, activate dormant revenue streams. Increase sales, marketing etc, a new offer 🦋Block the biggest hole(s). Eliminate your biggest cost drains then reassess 🦋Make the water thicker. Make it harder for money to leave without proper approval and controls. 🦋Tilt the bucket: strategic cash allocation to high growth activities , renegotiating payment terms with suppliers, strategic debt or building a cash buffer The most ironic thing I learned is: growth is one of the biggest causes of cash flow problems. You can be growing and still run dry because growth without proper planning or systems is expensive momentum. This weekend I’m moving my cash flow review from monthly to weekly and auditing every inflow and outflow channel so I can cut what isn’t earning its place. #moneytalksbycreditdirect is such an important movement and this summary honestly doesn’t do justice to the clarity I now have. Not everyone is wired the same and that’s okay. Having kids isn’t a universal life goal. Some people know early what they want (or don’t want), and it’s better to be honest about it than bring children into the world that you won’t love (we’ve seen worse from parents).

No matter what you do or don’t do you’ll be called a prostitute it ranges from wanting to be left alone to dating to having children to not wanting children to working and being independent to not working. Clothes, hobbies, will get you called a whore. So please enjoy your life.
