Underrated coaching truth: The best coaches aren’t obsessed with talent. They’re obsessed with effort. With attitude. With toughness. Because when it gets hard, that’s what still shows up.

The velocity progression is supposed to be gradual. Example 9th-79-81 10th-82-84 11th-85-87 12th-87-89 Then continue climbing in college. It's how injury risk is reduced drastically. Learn to pitch. Then add velocity over time. A consistent effort in the weight room and long tossing.
