@hayleyafterriot Energy bending was given to Raava and that’s who grants the avatars with all their bending, or at least that’s what I would assume after the lion turtles gave their bending to Raava to hold since Wan could only hold one at a time, until they fuse their spirits or whatever

@OcioLupa The advice wasn’t great but the avatar state still used all the past avatars techniques. Like when Aang firebended S1, or water bended in Episode 2 without knowing how. And presumably the big air ball in the finale was also the past avatars since Aang hadn’t done that before

This is super cool from a representation and accessibility standpoint, but having the lyrics still be audible but the lips moving but not matching gives this such an uncanny vibe

i think its really interesting that cassie is gobsmacked about the beauty maddie exudes naturally, but the viewer knows that maddie was waiting for her to show up first and was probably going through the motions in her head before getting out of the car. theyre both not past it

@miguelaraizac They’ve sampled old movie soundtracks in the two other seasons all the time, so it wasn’t so out of place, but I REALLY miss Labrinths sound it was perfect for the show. And I assume he did a lot of the soundtrack selection for other songs?? Loved his taste in music

@xxdbreezyxx Some sort of population bias? Korra had the water bender amputee and Atla had sparky boom man (missing leg and arm), even the air benders had the special needs kid that got picked last in that one flashback episode. There’s just a shit ton of earth benders.
