@themustardthe @DocSavage45899 @PlaybookCollect @denimneverdies The markets already made the changes, or the regulations are incredibly stupid, like forcing everyone to drink pasteurized milk and refuse to let people choose what they can drink. Theres a difference between "have this label and be informative" and "You can't do it this way"

@themustardthe @DocSavage45899 @PlaybookCollect @denimneverdies Oh you mean the cronyist system? Where the market buys what the government is selling or else the government will crush the market? Thats not capitalism. Regulations as of the state monopoly is bad, and the reality is that often regulations come far too late and were useless...

@thel11man1 @MrNameless_666 @OllieDrawsArt @arti_RW and they get to try their stupid ideas on that place. Let the nazis go hurr durr I hate everyone not like me on their space far away from others and let them as they will inevitably will, fail, and it will be increasingly obvious, such ideas are wrong.

@thel11man1 @MrNameless_666 @OllieDrawsArt @arti_RW Its about freedom of association, ya want to live life with those who agree with you? No problem, just dont force people who disagree to agree, or force those who agree, to disagree, it would be better if we packed all the nazis and sent them to somewhere alternate earth...

@thel11man1 @MrNameless_666 @OllieDrawsArt @arti_RW And don't go giving me that garbage that trans women were always women. That's pseudoscientific because there is literally no way to verify that, and even that is not agreed upon universally even in the trans community. Just as the born gay isn't agreed upon universally.

@thel11man1 @MrNameless_666 @OllieDrawsArt @arti_RW Ok, well, I disagree, both are not real woman. Only one of them is. If you think self identifying as a woman is enough, then there is no need for a trans marker. But there is... and why is that? because being trans is there in effect to say "this is not a born woman."

@jonWalk49263541 @bingban26351530 @romanhelmetguy Organization and coordination is no different from a constitutional state, it's just a matter of scale. And you'd better believe that shrinking the scale makes you a pretty attractive target for larger, more powerful groups.

Libertarianism is popular because it's based on internally consistent logic that a child can understand. "I'm not touching you, you can't touch me." The problem is that people can still touch you. "But they shouldn't." But they will.

@dan_isidro @bingban26351530 @romanhelmetguy But it works better than no private security, which is a proof that self defense works, it doesn't prove we need a state, it just proves you need coordination. Otherwise if you coordinate a community, but not centralize. it works.

@jonWalk49263541 @bingban26351530 @romanhelmetguy Governments in Africa are a joke, and that's a big reason for their disfunction. Gated communities in America benefit from an overall safe and stable system. The added layer of security is good, but it sure can't do everything.

@dan_isidro @bingban26351530 @romanhelmetguy Actually africa is one of the most statist continents of the entire world. Bannana republics are not private. Secondly, we have private security here, and it works really, really well, so well, it can beat out some of the garbage the government has. In fact gated communities

@ZaratheMarkerwo @crwarmuth44 @OllieDrawsArt Its like a muslim saying they are a christian, or when someone genuinely sees orange when you see maroon, they say maroon to make you feel better instead of calling it orange, or they say its hot, when you think it's "warm" its a stupid argument you are making,

@timstarr2001 @_Sekrius_ Ok what are we even arguing on? Are you a minarchist or what? I am genuinely confused on what your actual position is. So you have the stage, tell me what your position on it is.

@timstarr2001 @_Sekrius_ And funnily enough, many times, when a security guard exists, they are actually pretty effective. Private detectives? They usually are fairly effective sometimes more so than standard police.

@timstarr2001 @_Sekrius_ You have spent 35 years, and yet you still can't even grasp the idea that someone can just.... hire a private security guard to defend a location? You already accept a designated security guard as having authority, I dont see society as a whole in a giant uproar to end em.

Statists love strawman arguments like this because they'd be annihilated in an actual debate about libertarianism Also you can apply this to literally any law or ethics or morals ever lmao No libertarian has ever said the NAP is a shield or forcefield only their opponents have
